Fortress sieges are simplified compared to castle sieges - defeat the commanders and capture the flag.
How to Siege
- Register for siege during Mon-Fri 16:00-20:00
- Wait for countdown (5 min if NPC-owned, 1 hour if player-owned)
- Kill all 3 commanders (they don't respawn)
- Take one of the 3 combat flags and cast it at the top of the fortress
- Your clan now controls the fortress
Allegiance
Border fortresses can pledge allegiance to one of their related territories. The owning clan chooses which castle to support.
Skill Sharing
When this fortress pledges allegiance to a castle, both clans benefit from shared residence skills.

Active skills like Residence Mystic Immunity cannot be shared with fortresses.
Manage allegiance via Special Envoy NPCs that spawn after capture. Allegiance resets when the fortress changes hands.
Territory Ward Bonus
When this fortress has allegiance to a castle, fortress clan members receive the castle's matching territory ward bonus. Only the ward that matches the castle's territory is shared - if the castle captures other territory wards, those are not given to allied fortresses.

Requires the allied castle to hold its own territory ward. Example: A fortress allied to Gludio receives the Gludio ward bonus only if Gludio Castle holds the Gludio ward - not if they hold Dion's or Aden's ward instead.
