Fortress Siege
Fortresses are smaller, faster sieges perfect for clans looking to control territory without the full castle commitment. Sieges last 30 minutes and run on weekdays only - no weekend conflicts with Castle Siege.
Check the Fortress Database for all 21 fortresses.
How It Works
- Registration - Mon-Fri 16:00-20:00 server time
- Countdown - 5 minutes if NPC-owned, 1 hour if player-owned
- Siege Start - Everyone except defenders is teleported to the nearest peace zone
- Kill Commanders - All 3-4 commanders must be killed (they don’t respawn)
- Capture Flag - Take a combat flag and cast it at the top of the fortress
Fortress Allegiance
Fortresses can pledge allegiance to castles, creating a skill-sharing alliance between both clans. The castle clan receives the fortress’s residence skill, and the fortress clan chooses one of the castle’s passive residence skills to receive.
Important: Only passive skills can be selected as shareable skills from the castle. Active skills like Residential Mystic Immunity cannot be chosen by allied fortresses.
Special Envoy NPCs spawn inside the fortress after capture - one for each castle the fortress can pledge to. The fortress owner speaks with the envoy representing the castle they wish to ally with. Border fortresses have multiple envoys to choose from, while domain fortresses have just one.
Fortress Types:
- Domain Fortresses - Fixed to a single castle territory (1 envoy)
- Border Fortresses - Can pledge to any of 2-3 neighboring castles (2-3 envoys)
When a fortress changes owners, allegiance resets and envoys respawn for the new owner.
Suspicious Merchant
A Suspicious Merchant NPC spawns near each fortress. This is where clans register to attack the fortress. The merchant despawns 10 minutes before a siege begins and respawns after the siege ends.
Territory Ward Bonus
Allied fortresses also share in the castle’s Territory War ward bonuses. When a fortress pledges allegiance to a castle, the fortress clan receives the castle’s matching territory ward skill - but only if the castle holds its own territory’s ward.
For example: A fortress allied to Gludio receives the Gludio ward bonus only when Gludio Castle holds the Gludio ward. If Gludio captures Dion’s or Aden’s ward instead, those are not shared with allied fortresses.
See each fortress detail page for the specific ward skills available through each allegiance option.
