Armor Sets
How Armor Sets Work
Armor sets provide powerful bonuses when you equip all pieces from the same set. You must equip all armor pieces (helm, armor, gloves, boots) to activate set bonuses. Shields provide additional effects when equipped with the full set.
Items that belong to an armor set are marked with a Set badge in the Item Database. Click the badge to jump to this page.
Auto-Equip
Equip a chest piece and the rest of the set auto-equips from your inventory. The system picks the highest enchanted pieces available. No macros needed - one click, full set.
The Redesign
Original A/S-grade sets had problems:
- Stat penalties - Every set forced tradeoffs like STR+2 CON-2
- Random bonuses - “Weight Limit +5759” mixed with actual combat stats
- No identity - Dark Crystal vs Nightmare? Basically the same thing
- Type mismatch - Heavy and Light versions of the same set had completely different bonuses
L2Cruma armor sets have clear, layered design. Every bonus has purpose.
How Set Bonuses Work
Every A-grade set gives you three layers of bonuses:
1. Armor Type Baseline
Your armor type determines your combat role:

Heavy = survive. Light = speed. Robe = cast.
2. Family Identity
Each armor family has a debuff specialty - resist it and inflict it:

3. Unique Bonus
Each set has its own identity. Dark Crystal rewards precision - more crits, more skill crits. Nightmare is burst damage - when your skills crit, they hit harder. Tallum is relentless pressure - faster attacks, shorter cooldowns. Majestic is raw power - no tricks, just bigger numbers.

S-Grade Sets
One set per armor type. Higher baseline stats. All share Debuff Resist - endgame survivability against everything.
