Classic Lineage 2 PvP Server

This is what Lineage 2 Classic should have been.

Interlude’s original map and NPCs. High Five’s Olympiad and Territory War. Classic’s modern client, textures, and skill reworks. Essence’s zones where they were better than Classic. Twenty years of Lineage 2, curated by players who knew what to keep.

We kept what worked. We removed what didn’t. We built what was missing.

What We Kept From Each Chronicle

From Interlude. The original map and NPCs, with level 80 and S-grade as the endgame - the version of L2 where the world still made sense. We reverted every NCSoft rework that added clutter, rerouted paths, or broke zones that didn’t need fixing. Every zone is back to what veterans remember.

From High Five. Olympiad and Territory War - the two PvP systems the playerbase never stopped asking for. Weekly Territory War with ward capture across all 9 territories. 24/7 Olympiad with per-class tracking and subclass support.

From Classic. The modern client. Updated textures, effects, lighting, and interface. Classic skill reworks that actually improved how combat feels. This is where the game finally started looking as good as it played.

From Essence. The best zone versions. Where Essence shipped a zone better than Classic did, we used the Essence version. Curated zone-by-zone, not chronicle-by-chronicle.

No loyalty to any single chronicle. Loyalty to what actually worked.

What We Removed

We removed most of what Classic and Essence added. Gambling systems dressed as crafting. Login calendars, subscription tiers, currencies stacked on currencies. Gear that pretended to be progression but was really a store page. Either bad design that didn’t fit L2’s soul, or pure monetization with nothing worth saving.

We kept what made L2 feel like L2. Everything that wasn’t core, gone.

What we removed in full - for the curious

What We Built

Crystallized Items. When an enchant fails, your item crystallizes - keeping its enchant level permanently. You can never fall below your best attempt. This is why players on L2Cruma enchant aggressively instead of hoarding at +4, and why a failed enchant feels like a new floor instead of a loss.

Brooch Gems from crystals. Every failed enchant produces crystals. Crystals feed a brooch gem upgrade tree - a second progression path for players who enchant aggressively. Nothing on this server is wasted, including your failures.

Every armor set is viable. We reworked the full A and S grade armor sets so no set is dead. You pick your set for class identity and playstyle, not because one of them is the only one worth wearing.

No buff loss on death. You spawn with the full 47-skill buff and it survives every PvP death. No Noblesse Blessing required. No buff bot trailing you. No sitting in town after every fight - you just play.

Organic PvP rewards. Kills in open PvP produce rewards that matter. No token arena, no queue-and-farm zone - fights produce value because the fight itself had stakes, and the reward finds its way to the winner naturally.

The Details Nobody Else Fixes

The hard bugs. Position and movement desync between players. Falling through the map. Teleporting instead of swimming when you enter water. Clicking to move in a dungeon and getting teleported a floor up or down. Targeting a mob and watching it instantly teleport. Invisible NPCs aggroing and hitting you from under the ground. Monsters pathing through walls. NPC behavior every other server has ignored for fifteen years.

The quiet polish. Every skill description on the server rewritten - literally nobody else does this, because nobody else cares at that level. Enchant rates decided with statistical models, not arbitrary config values. Auto-equip armor sets, one-click build switching. Classes redesigned to do what they’re supposed to do, problematic skills rebalanced with elegant solutions.

You’ve seen these problems before. On L2Cruma, you won’t see them again.

We’ve run L2 servers since Hellbound in 2008. We’ve played every chronicle on every private server model ever launched. We know exactly what’s wrong with L2, because we’re the ones who’ve been frustrated by it.

How Power Works

Enchant level is the main axis. Gear is free S-grade from day one - the game isn’t about getting gear, it’s about enchanting it. Everything else is mostly* equalized.

PvP over something worth fighting for - clan wars, castle sieges, and territory control.

One client per player. No dualboxing, no buff bots, no second boxes. Every character you fight is a real person. A “50 players online” readout is 50 humans, not 17 players running three boxes each.

*Castle ownership and territory wards grant clan-wide PvP bonuses on top of personal enchant level.

What Every Player Gets

  • Full buff from the NPC Buffer, no buff loss on death, no Noblesse Blessing required
  • Free welcome bonus for activating the 30-day starter subscription
