PvP Systems
L2Cruma doesn’t bolt on artificial PvP zones, TvT events, or loot tables that pay you for kills. The PvP systems here are designed so that fights produce value because the fight itself had stakes.
PvP Zone Rotation
Every 60 minutes (synced to the top of the hour), one of six farming zones becomes the active PvP Zone. The zone rotates through all six non-repeating, then reshuffles and cycles again.
When a zone is active:
- All players inside are automatically PvP flagged for the duration
- Monster adena drops are tripled (on top of existing zone multipliers)
- Monster respawn times are tripled (contested resource)
- Players inside see a battlefield chat notification
- All online players see a server-wide announcement
Per-second Mouse Adena tick: Every player inside the zone receives 1,000,000 Mouse Adena per second while active. The tick pauses after 30 seconds of no game input and resumes on the next action.
In-zone self-resurrection: If you die inside the active PvP Zone, you can self-resurrect with a 10-second countdown. On completion, you revive with full HP/MP/CP at a random spawn point in the zone with 30 seconds of invincibility.
Random spawn teleport: Teleporting to the active zone puts you at a random spawn point. Party members in a peace zone near the party leader receive an invitation to teleport together.
Mouse Adena & Pig Adena
Mouse Adena and Pig Adena are PvP reward currencies. Both drop from monsters in farming zones and accumulate in your inventory as you farm.
On a PvP kill (both players flagged, not PKing):
- Killer gets the victim’s Mouse Adena (capped at the killer’s own Mouse Adena)
- Killer gets the victim’s Pig Adena (same cap rule)
On a PK kill (killer has karma):
- Both currencies transfer from victim to killer
- Killer receives Pig Adena variants of both
Conversion: When you enter a peace zone, both currencies automatically convert to regular Adena at 1:1. This creates a meaningful decision: stay in the PvP zone and accumulate more, or return to safety and convert it.
Adena Interest Buff: Mouse Adena in your inventory grants a passive buff - every 10 million Mouse Adena = +1% adena drop rate, up to +100% at 1 billion. This rewards carrying your winnings rather than immediately converting them.
Cursed Adena
Cursed Adena is earned from PvP death. When you lose Mouse or Pig Adena to a killer, you receive Cursed Adena equal to what you lost. Unlike regular Mouse/Pig Adena, it does NOT convert in peace zones.
Three paths after PvP death:
| Choice | Cursed Adena Outcome |
|---|---|
| Fight (PvP immediately) | Burned on kill - increases your steal cap for the comeback |
| Gamble (visit Lottery NPC) | Spent on tickets - chance at the daily jackpot |
| Farm (grind monsters) | Melts away from Mouse/Pig Adena drops (1:1) |
PvP Steal Cap Boost: Cursed Adena inflates the amount you can steal from a victim. Normal cap is min(victim_amount, killer_amount). With Cursed Adena, it becomes min(victim_amount, killer_amount + cursed). The Cursed Adena used beyond the normal cap is consumed on the kill.
Control Zones
Six clan-capturable territories, one per farming zone. Clans capture and hold them for passive tax income.
Capture mechanics:
- 600 points needed to capture a zone
- Point gain scales logarithmically with clan members present (solo ≈ 1 pt/sec, 20 players ≈ 4.4 pts/sec)
- Progress broadcast at 15%, 30%, 50%, 75%, 90%
- Zone is immune for 15 minutes after capture - cannot be retaken
- State persists across server restarts
Tax system:
- Owning clan earns 10% of all adena dropped by monsters inside the zone
- 5% goes directly to the clan warehouse
- 5% is split among online clan members
- Players who participated in the original capture earn 4x shares of the split
PvP flagging: Entering a Control Zone automatically applies PvP flag. A zone can be both a Control Zone and the active PvP Zone simultaneously.
Castle Siege
Nine castles on a 4-week rotation schedule. Sieges last 2 hours. Clans must be Level 3+ to participate.
- Registration opens after each siege ends, closes 24 hours before the next
- Attackers: any clan without a castle (unlimited)
- Defenders: require castle owner approval; allied fortresses auto-defend
- Destroy Respawn Time Crystals to increase defender respawn delay
- Cast Seal of Ruler on the Holy Artifact to claim the castle
Castle tax has been removed. The sole reward is Residence Skills - passive stat buffs that apply to every clan member server-wide. Capital castles (Aden, Rune) grant 5 skills each.
Fortress Siege
21 fortresses, weekday only (no weekend conflicts with castle siege). Sieges last 30 minutes.
- Registration Mon-Fri 16:00-20:00 at the Suspicious Merchant NPC
- Kill all 3-4 commanders (no respawn)
- Capture a combat flag and plant it at the top
Fortresses pledge allegiance to castles. The fortress clan picks one passive residence skill from the castle; the castle clan receives the fortress’s resistance skill (stun/hold/sleep). Fortress ownership expires after 7 days.
Territory War
Weekly ward capture across all 9 territories. Runs Saturday, 2 hours.
- Kill a ward NPC at an enemy castle to pick up the ward
- Escape (no teleporting, mounting, or transforming while carrying)
- Target your clan’s Outpost and cast Territory Benefaction (3-minute channel)
- Ward spawns in your castle hall - bonus active for all clan members
Bonuses: Each ward grants +2.5% PvP offense or defense. All 9 wards = +12.5% PvP offense, +10% PvP defense - equivalent to +5 weapon and +4 armor enchant levels in PvP combat stats.
Olympiad
24/7 competitive 1v1 PvP with per-class tracking, subclass support, and stacking hero duration.
- Match format: Non-Classed only (any class vs any class)
- Enchant cap: +6 weapons and armor (fair competition)
- Match wait time: 10 seconds
- Rewards: 10 tokens (win), 3 tokens (loss/draw)
- 70 tokens exchange for the Olympiad Warrior’s Pendant
Hero system: Each class has its own hero - the player with the most points in that class wins hero status. Hero skills (Heroic Miracle, Berserker, etc.) are available on ALL your classes, not just the one that earned hero. Hero duration stacks per win.
